Primus Power Gas is Primus's most versatile gas blend, good for most of the year from early spring to early winter. It's a mix of propane and isobutane, so it still gives enough pressure to run a stove even when the temperature dips below freezing.

It's a great choice when you're not sure what the weather will do. It fits all standard screw-thread gas stoves, including Primus, Jetboil, MSR and Fire Maple. Choose the size that suits your trip:

Sizes

Gas Full weight Size Best for
100 g 198 g 8.9 x 6.6 cm Overnights; fits inside many stove pots
230 g 388 g 10.7 x 8.4 cm Weekends and longer trips
450 g 644 g 10.7 x 13.7 cm Groups and base camps

Delivery note: we can only send gas to mainland UK addresses, not Northern Ireland or the Highlands.

Compare it with Jetboil Jetpower, and see all camping gas canisters and the Primus range.

FAQs

Will Primus gas fit my stove?

Yes, if your stove takes standard screw-thread canisters. That includes Primus, Jetboil, MSR, Fire Maple, Soto and most other backpacking gas stoves.

Does it work in cold weather?

Primus says Power Gas still gives enough power to run a stove below freezing, which makes it a good all-season choice for most UK trips.

Can you deliver gas to Northern Ireland or the Highlands?

Sorry, no. Because of shipping restrictions on gas, we can only send canisters to mainland UK addresses.
