The Onewind Canvas for DIY Tripod Chair is a seat pad that turns three branches into a comfortable camp seat. Lash three sticks into a simple tripod, as you would for a campfire, and drop the canvas over the top.
Please note this is the canvas seat only: you make the legs yourself from sticks or wood you find on the trail. Because you build the legs, you can choose the seat height to suit you and avoid bending your knees too far.
Key features
- Seat pad only, legs made from branches
- Height set by the sticks you choose
- Durable, water-resistant 600D recycled polyester Oxford fabric
- Reinforced pockets on every corner hold the branches in place
- Reinforced stitching
- Weighs 115g and folds up small
- Rated to 225lbs
How to use
Find three sturdy, straight branches of similar length. Tie them together near the top to form a tripod, then seat the ends of the branches into the corner pockets. Set-up takes just a few minutes.
Ideal for
Bushcrafters, campers, hunters and hikers who want a seat without carrying a chair.
