The Flextail Zero Lantern is a compact, rechargeable camping light designed for hikers, backpackers and anyone looking to keep their outdoor kit light and practical. Weighing just 56g, it combines a 360° lantern with a focused flashlight, giving you two useful lighting options in one small package.
At only 32 × 69mm, the Zero Lantern takes up very little room in a rucksack, pocket or camping kit. An integrated aluminium carabiner also makes it easy to attach to a pack, tent or other piece of equipment when you need hands-free lighting.
Two Lighting Options in One
The Zero Lantern can be used as both a camping lantern and flashlight. The lantern mode provides 360° illumination, making it suitable for lighting a tent, campsite or table, while the focused flashlight beam is designed for more directional lighting when walking or looking around after dark.
There are four lighting modes available: Camp Light, Flashlight, Ambient and Strobe, giving you flexibility depending on the situation.
The lantern uses a 3000K warm light, while the flashlight uses a cooler 9000K colour temperature. The lantern also offers up to 90 CRI, providing more natural-looking colour rendering.
300 Lumens in a 56g Package
Despite its small size, the Flextail Zero Lantern produces up to 300 lumens. Brightness can be adjusted across four levels, allowing you to choose between a lower output for general campsite use and a brighter setting when more illumination is required.
A metal dimming control provides tactile adjustment, making it easy to change the brightness without having to cycle through multiple settings.
Rechargeable USB-C Battery
The Zero Lantern features a built-in 1100mAh rechargeable battery with USB-C charging. Flextail rates the lantern for up to 35 hours of runtime, depending on the lighting mode and brightness level.
Using a rechargeable battery means there is no need to carry disposable batteries, while the compact design makes the Zero Lantern particularly well suited to lightweight camping and backpacking setups.
Built for Outdoor Use
The Zero Lantern has an IPX5 water-resistance rating and has been tested against drops from up to 1 metre, making it suitable for everyday use outdoors.
A safety lock switch helps prevent the light from being accidentally switched on while packed inside a rucksack or pocket. This is a useful feature when space is limited and you want to avoid arriving at camp with a flat battery.
