DD has taken its popular standard tarp, printed it in Multicamo and added buckles, metal eyelets and 21 reinforced attachment points for far more set-up options. It can be pitched over a hammock or used as a ground shelter for up to two people.
21 reinforced attachment points. Sixteen points around the edges, three along the ridge line and one either side of it give you a wide choice of pitches, from a simple A-frame to a low, wind-shedding lean-to.
Buckles for joining tarps. Eighteen buckles along two sides let you clip two or more Pro tarps together for a larger group shelter, or close off an open end when the weather turns. Overlap the upper tarp onto the lower one so rain runs off rather than in. DD has recently updated the buckle design, so a new Pro tarp may not clip to an older one.
Metal eyelets and guy line stowage. All 16 outer points have metal eyelets for use with tarp poles or pegging tight to the ground, and eight hook-and-loop holders keep the guy lines tidy and attached between trips.
Weather protection. The 190T polyester is PU-coated to 3,000mm with fully taped seams, and its UV50+ rating blocks 98% of UVA and UVB rays.
It suits hammock campers, wild campers and bushcraft groups who want one tarp that adapts to the site and the weather.
