Nikwax Cotton Proof is a wash-in treatment that adds durable water repellency to cotton, polycotton and canvas clothing and equipment. It stops fabric absorbing water, so your gear does not get heavy in the rain, and helps maintain breathability.
Like all Nikwax products it is water based, contains no propellant gases and is non-toxic, so you can refresh your gear rather than replace it.

How to use in a washing machine
- Clean items first with Nikwax Tech Wash in a separate cycle. No need to dry them before proofing.
- Shake well and remove all detergent build-up from the dispenser.
- Load up to 3 clean items.
- Use 50ml for 1 item, 100ml for 2 items or 150ml for 3 items.
- Wash according to the care label.
- Air dry, or tumble dry on low if the care label allows.
Care
To maintain the waterproofing, always wash with Nikwax Tech Wash and do not use detergents.
