Continuous loops are the neat, lightweight way to connect a gathered-end hammock to its suspension. These Onewind loops are made from 3mm UHMWPE cord, which is very strong for its weight, with a breaking strength of 1,500lb and a weight of just 5g per metre.
Use them with tree straps and cinch buckles for a suspension you can set up in about a minute. They hold the hammock securely at the right height, and they're small enough to keep a spare set in your pack.
