3F UL Gear FastSil Pro Silicone Seam Sealer

FastSil Pro is a fast-drying silicone for sealing tent seams on sil/sil fabrics. Manufacturer and UK retailers state it dries within about 6 hours, so you spend less time waiting for a tent to air-dry than with slower sealers.

It suits 3F UL Gear Lanshan Pro tents and other brands’ silnylon or silpoly shelters. It can also be used to waterproof some outdoor gear such as gloves and backpacks. Each pack includes one tube and one applicator. See tent spares and Gear Aid Seam Grip + Sil.

How to use

Pitch the tent taut in a dry, sheltered spot. Make sure the seams are clean and dry, then apply a thin, even layer along the stitching with the applicator. Leave it pitched until fully dry.

Delivery note

Because this is a liquid/gel, most couriers cannot ship it with other products. It is usually sent separately by post, so you may receive more than one package.

How long does FastSil Pro take to dry?

Manufacturer and UK retailers state about 6 hours for a full dry. One European retailer notes it can be touch-dry in about 10 minutes, with 4–6 hours ideally before packing.

Can I use it on a Lanshan Pro?

Yes. It seals sil/sil fabric tents, including the Lanshan Pro series.

Why did my order arrive separately?

As a liquid/gel it usually cannot travel with other products, so it is sent by separate post.

Which fabrics is it for?

Silicone-based sealer for sil/sil fabrics such as Lanshan Pro flies. Not intended for PU-coated factory-taped seams.
