Built for cooking over an open fire, this steel casserole hangs from a tripod or pot hook by its shaped handle. Its thin base heats up quickly, so water boils and stews come up to temperature without a long wait. It is available in 2.3L and 4.6L sizes.
Fast-heating base. The thin steel bottom passes heat from the flames straight into the pot. Thick sauces can catch on a thin base, so stir often or raise the pot once it is simmering.
Hanging handle. The shaped handle sits securely on a chain or pot hook. You can then raise or lower the pot over the fire to control the heat.
Two sizes. The 2.3L pot weighs around 650g and suits one or two people. The 4.6L pot weighs approximately 950g and is better for feeding a small group at a fixed camp.
