UCO Hurricane matches are windproof and waterproof, with a burn time of up to 15 seconds. This kit holds 25 matches and three strikers in a waterproof case that floats, with a replaceable striker on the outside.
Floating, waterproof case. The case keeps the matches dry and floats if dropped in water. It holds up to 40 matches, so there is room to top it up.
Long burn. Up to 15 seconds per match gives you time to light a stove or catch tinder in poor weather. The 7cm matches also keep your fingers further from the flame.
It makes a reliable back-up for wild campers and bushcraft hobbyists who usually rely on a lighter or ferro rod.
