DD’s Fixed Loop Tarp Fasteners are a simple, lightweight way to keep a tarp pitched tight along a ridgeline. Each one is a fixed loop of extra-strong Amsteel rope, and at just 5g apiece they add next to nothing to your kit.
Tie them onto your ridgeline as prusik knots, then clip the free ends to your tarp’s loops. The tarp is held firmly in place, and you can slide the knots along the line to adjust tension and position.

How to use
Wrap each loop around the ridgeline to form a prusik, one at each end of the tarp. Clip the free end to the tarp loop and slide the knot outwards to take up slack.
DD recommend pairing them with DD Mini Karabiners for quick clipping. They suit any DD 3x3 Tarp and the wider range of hammock accessories.
