It all began in 1928 at the land of dark Arctic winters and the midnight sun, when a blacksmith Janne Marttiini decided to establish knife factory to Rovaniemi in Finnish Lapland.
With the user in mind, he began to create beautiful, high quality utility articles to be used in the harshest conditions imaginable.
But don't let its beauty fool you. The moment you put one to a test, you're convinced it is the perfect tool for your need. You feel the sensation of natural materials like leather, curly birch, reindeer antler, and of course the ultra sharp blade always made from finest steel.
Today, Marttiini knives are a combination of generations of craftsmanship and modern technology that create knives that are not only sharp, but also perfectly represent the beauty and toughness of the North. They're called "puukko" – the Nordic knife.
Tracking usually becomes active around 6PM on the day of dispatch.
If you haven't received a tracking number from either ourselves or the courier, please open the Online Chat at the bottom right of the screen and enter your Order Number (found in your order confirmation email) into the chat box. This will bring up your tracking number.
If this method still doesn't provide you with your order number, please get in touch with us via email. Note that a tracking number will not be generated immediately.

We are warehouse-based and do not have items on display. However, you are welcome to collect your order from our warehouse in Church Crookham - just select the Click & Collect option at the checkout!
Click & collect orders are normally ready within 1 hour, Monday - Friday 9-5 (excluding bank holidays).
When will my order arrive?
Most orders arrive next working day (Monday-Friday) if ordered before 13:00 and you are on the UK mainland.
Some orders to Scotland may take an extra day, particularly Highland addresses.
