The Bushmen HIDEOUT Warm is a multifunction insulated bivvy and sleeping bag that protects you against cold, wet and insects. It also works as an insulated rain poncho and a hammock underblanket.
The hood has a built-in mosquito net against mosquitoes, ticks and other insects. At 90cm wide at the top, tapering to 45cm at the feet, it is roomy enough for broad shoulders.

As a rain poncho
The sides close with waterproof double-sided zips, which keep out heavy rain, snow and wind better than poncho snaps or Velcro, and let you adjust breathability. The long flaps reach below the knees to keep your trousers dry, and the chest has a waterproof zipped pocket and a patch panel. Elastic expanders let you cinch it in like a raincoat.
Tips
The plastic hooks on the expanders act as fuses. If a cord slips out, the load is too high, so ease off before reattaching it. Some condensation inside is normal with heavy use.
