The Bushmen HIDEOUT Thermo Camo is a multifunction bivvy bag that protects you against cold, wet and insects. It also works as a rain poncho, hammock sock and tarp.
A zip-in hood gives an overall length of 2.6m (2.3m tarp plus 0.3m hood), so even tall people have room in the foot to keep boots dry. Two internal pockets with waterproof zips hold a phone, headlamp or maps.

As a rain poncho
Waterproof double-sided side zips keep out heavy rain, snow and wind better than snaps or Velcro, and let you adjust breathability. Long flaps reach below the knees, and the chest has a waterproof zipped pocket and patch panel.
Safety and care
The fabric is not flame or spark resistant, so keep it away from fire. The expander hooks act as fuses: if a cord slips out, the load is too high. Some condensation inside is normal with heavy use.
