The Lanshan 2 is one of the most popular lightweight tents in the UK, and the 2026 version makes a good thing better. It's a double-wall, two-person trekking pole tent that weighs about 1,060g, packs to the size of a water bottle and costs a fraction of the big-name ultralight shelters.
You pitch it with two trekking poles instead of tent poles, so you're not carrying extra weight. The curved fly sits clear of the ground at the base, which keeps air moving through the tent and cuts down on condensation. On warm nights the mesh inner gives you a bug-free place to sleep with plenty of airflow.
What's new for 2026
- Storm-flap design with a waterproof zip
- Metal hooks instead of plastic
- Bigger ventilation opening
- 20D UHMWPE grid nylon fabric
