3F UL Gear Ultralight Carbon Stakes are a great choice for soft ground. A carbon fibre shaft with an aluminium tip and cap gives an excellent holding power to weight ratio, and a full set can save at least 40g.
They are thicker than metal stakes of the same weight, so they grip the ground better, and the red cap makes them easy to find and pull out.

How to use them
Never hammer carbon stakes. Steady yourself and push them in with your foot. In hard ground, use a rock on top of the stake as an anchor instead.
Care tips
The shafts are rigid and will not bend, but can break if overstressed. The tips are bonded in place, so keep a small tube of instant glue in your repair kit.
