Ultralight DD SuperLight Pyramid Tent for Solo Backpacking
Travelling light? The DD SuperLight Pyramid Tent weighs just 460g (without pegs and guylines), packs down to 28 x 15 x 11cm and pitches without a frame. It's a simple, tipi-style shelter from DD Hammocks, ideal for solo backpacking and minimalist trips.
It's made from a single layer of SuperLight ripstop nylon with a 3,000mm PU coating and taped seams. There's room for one person plus a rucksack, or two people who don't mind getting friendly. Expect roughly 2.4m x 2m of floor space and about 1.2m of height at the peak.
Pitch it propped up with a single DD Hiking Pole (sold separately), or hang it from a branch using the central top loop. A zipped side door rolls out of the way, a small back vent helps airflow, and four optional corner guy-out points add security when it's blowy.
